UTAA Connect is the new online home of the University of Tennessee
Alumni Association, which serves the more than 300,000 people who have
attended any of UT's campuses. We've also just launched new sites for
each of the campus alumni offices, so check them out, too, and see what other
opportunities and benefits await:
Who can register?
Anyone who graduated from a UT campus can register at UTAA Connect. It only takes a few minutes.
The UTAA has hosted an online alumni community for nearly a decade, but UTAA Connect is a fresh start. The Internet has changed a lot over the past few years. We're not interested in trying to compete with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Instead, we focused on doing the important things better:
Connecting local alumni -- Check out the new chapters maps and find out what UT alumni are doing in your community. Also, once you've registered you'll have access to the alumni directory, which allows you to find and contact old friends.
Spotlighting our benefits and services -- Did you know you can get a free Emerald Club membership at Enterprise? It's a $50 value and allows you to bypass some of the long lines. No strings attached.
Publicizing our events -- The UTAA and the four campus alumni offices host hundreds of events each year. You can now find them all on our events calendar.
Telling UT's stories -- The University of Tennessee is a great institution. I mean that sincerely. And we want to do a better job of sharing UT's stories. Keep an eye on the news section, which we hope to evolve in the coming months. Also, check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Encouraging participation -- You are UT's strongest advocates. You demonstrate daily the life-changing impact that public higher education has on a family, community, state, and nation. And we want to help you stay involved. Along with UTAA programs like chapters, the Women's Council, the Board of Governors, and the Alumni Legislative Council, a variety of opportunities await you at your campus alumni office.
If you have any questions about UTAA Connect or about the UTAA, generally, please don't hesitate to contact me.
